Macau

In 1557, Macau (Bay Gate) was leased to Portugal, from China, as a trading port.
In 1887, through a mutual agreement, Macau became a colony.
In 1999 sovereignty returned to the People's Republic of China.
The Macau Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, is an autonomous territory bordered by the city of Zhuhai and the Pearl River Estuary. Macau is the most densely populated place on the planet, the second most densely populated is Monaco.
